Sherlock Holmes is no mystery. He has stepped up to herdsire row already as one of the best roans we've produced. It's no surprise given his pedigree. Both his parents carry black, so he has as good a chance of producing bay roan (modern rose grey) as he is of producing the very desired blue roan (modern silver grey). Had it not been for Covid, this is one male that we would have loved to show. Our plan for the next generation in the roan program has been to select the best roans to replace Arturo (Modigliani) and Touchstone (Sherlock Holmes). We wanted the sons to be as remarkable as their pre-potent sires...mission accomplished. NOW BREEDING!
